Day 18 A Trip to Chao Phraya, Bangkok and the Farewell Party

Ms. Vi and Ms. View told us that they would be bringing some of us to Bangkok on a day trip. We were those who had Thai students in our schools as an exchange student. Ms Vi and Ms. View wanted show us Bangkok through a river cruise because their students were also brought to different places in their respective universities.

We went to different places by just riding the speed boat. We visited Wat Arum and other temples. We also got to buy some souvenirs we can bring home. We were also able to spend more time with Ms. Vi and Ms. View and the other exchange students.

I was amazed by how they could use the Chao Phraya river to go to different places. It is a good place for tourists because it is tourist friendly and a lot of locals use it as a transportation. Aside from that, there are also tour guides who help the people and even give some trivias to tourists about the different places that we passed by.

When we got back to the university, we were just on time for the farewell party. The party was simple but very full of colors because the students from Indonesia and Philippines got to share their culture at the same time every student was able able to share their experience in the University and all I can say that we all had something memorable that happened to us in our stay in our respective universities.

We were able to spend time with one another as a whole and we took a lot of pictures that can serve as our souvenirs when we go back to our own country. I got to know some of the other students that I did not get to see before at the university because they got assigned in another university.

All in all, the farewell party was our last get together as a whole and it was such a fun time for all of us.
